dog y(e)ars

Denzel Joyson A. J.

(I have bared all my teeth, I have snapped for far too long)

growling at the dark/

does he bite?

experienced fosterers required // doesn’t do well with others/

where have you gone?

why did you leave?

i was always good (even when I wasn’t)

i wouldn’t even if I really wanted to/

fight over scraps (they were mine first)

howl at the moon (dig through the dirt)

take it all out //

You can’t teach an old dog new tricks /
