What We Want:

Wasteland is a poetry artwork review; we will accept poems in any form. We’re looking to publish pieces that are strange and unusual, raw and devastating; the goal of our review is to embrace experimentation and encourage our writers to think unconventionally. **Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and all other hurtful content has no place in our magazine.

Submission Guidelines:

Submitting material to Wasteland Review is absolutely free! All submissions must be sent in Word documents or PDFs to wastelandlitmag@gmail.com. A maximum of 4 total pieces per person will be accepted. We welcome simultaneous submissions; if your piece is accepted to another magazine, please let us know! Upon the acceptance of your piece, we will request an artist bio from you.

Feedback and Payment

Unfortunately, at this early stage, we are unable to offer payment or feedback to our contributors. We hope to change this in the future; as the magazine gets off the ground, we’ll start discussing our protocol for expedited submissions and paying our poets.
